Arbroath Caves 23rd June 2007
A short day paddle from Arbroath, paddling North to Auchmithie and return. A classic trip with stunning caves and geology, though not nearly as much birdlife as further up the coast. The promised ice cream shop in Auchmithie sadly closed down many years ago, so chocolate Hob-Nobs were the only treats on offer today. A brief cetacean encounter on the return rounded off a great day, even if it did rain as we entered the harbour!
