Integrate Paddling occasionally captures photographs and video during paddling
sessions, trips, training activities, and club events. This statement explains why images
are taken, how they are used, and the steps we take to protect members’ privacy. It
forms part of our commitment to transparency under UK GDPR and the Data Protection
Act 2018.
Why we take photographs and video
Images may be taken for several legitimate club purposes, including documenting club
activities and events, supporting coaching, training, and safety briefings, promoting the
club through our website, social media, and printed materials, reporting on events or
achievements, and providing material for governing body submissions or partnership
work.
How images are used
Photographs and video may appear in the Integrate Paddling website, official social
media channels, newsletters, posters, or club promotional materials, training or safety
resources, and event reports or updates shared with members. We do not sell images or
use them for commercial gain, and we do not publish names alongside images unless
explicit permission has been given.
Your choices and how to opt out
Members are requested to consent to the above or decline
Withdrawing consent
Members may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal applies to
future use; previously published images may remain on-line where removal is not
reasonably possible.
How we store and protect images
Images are stored securely and accessed only by authorised club volunteers. We retain
images only for as long as they are relevant to club activities, after which they are
deleted or archived in a non-public format.
